A trav\u00e9s de publicaciones en sus redes sociales, el Presidente de la Rep\u00fablica y el Ministerio del Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, anunciaron la firma del Decreto N.\u00ba 1.400 del Poder Ejecutivo en el que se suspenden por 60 meses (periodo presidencial del actual presidente), las concesiones de Declaraciones de Impacto Ambiental para la instalaci\u00f3n de nuevas estaciones de servicio en zonas urbanas.<\/p>\n

Si bien las estaciones de servicio habilitadas hasta ahora seguir\u00e1n operando, esta medida fue tomada gracias a la manifestaci\u00f3n ciudadana ante el riesgo para la salud, la seguridad y para el medio ambiente y los recursos naturales que supone el establecimiento de nuevas estaciones de servicio.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed tambi\u00e9n, tiene una gran relevancia el informe de la Contralor\u00eda presentado al presidente en el que se detallan los riesgos y las amenazas de las gasolineras hacia el medio ambiente y la salud de los ciudadanos.<\/p>\n

INFORME DE CONTRALOR\u00cdA SOBRE ESTACIONES DE COMBUSTIBLE<\/a><\/p>\n

El ministro Rolando de Barros (MADES) indic\u00f3 que esta medida permitir\u00e1 realizar un an\u00e1lisis integral de los impactos que el crecimiento exponencial de estos establecimientos ha causado en los recursos naturales en el pa\u00eds, as\u00ed como el riesgo que implica en la salud y seguridad de las personas.<\/p>\n

El decreto empieza a regir desde hoy, 19 de marzo, y tras esto se iniciaran procesos de fiscalizaci\u00f3n para determinar el cumplimiento de las medidas correspondientes en las estaciones de servicio ya habilitadas.<\/p>\n
