Localizado a 80 kil\u00f3metros al norte de Lima, este puerto es un proyecto ambicioso liderado por Cosco Shipping Ports, un gigante chino en log\u00edstica mar\u00edtima, en colaboraci\u00f3n con Inversiones Portuarias Chancay de Per\u00fa.<\/p>\n<p>Con una inversi\u00f3n internacional de gran escala y tecnolog\u00eda de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n, el puerto apunta a ser una alternativa clave para el transporte mar\u00edtimo hacia Asia. Su infraestructura, concebida en 2007 por el marino peruano Juan Ribaudo De La Torre, incluye un t\u00fanel subterr\u00e1neo y una zona operativa con gr\u00faas p\u00f3rtico de casi 90 metros que operar\u00e1n de forma aut\u00f3noma las 24 horas del d\u00eda. Esta automatizaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 una eficiencia notable: cada gr\u00faa manejar\u00e1 hasta 50 contenedores por hora, superando los 30 que promedian los puertos m\u00e1s productivos del mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Este avance tecnol\u00f3gico no solo reduce costos energ\u00e9ticos en un 40%, sino que tambi\u00e9n minimiza el tiempo de espera de los buques. Se estima que el trayecto entre Per\u00fa y Shangh\u00e1i ser\u00e1 de aproximadamente 21 a 23 d\u00edas, frente a los 40 d\u00edas actuales para el comercio desde el Pac\u00edfico sudamericano hacia Asia.<\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o del puerto de Chancay responde tambi\u00e9n a est\u00e1ndares de sostenibilidad. Toda su operativa es el\u00e9ctrica, sin emisi\u00f3n de carbono, y cuenta con sistemas de seguridad capaces de soportar sismos de hasta 8.5 grados y tsunamis. Adem\u00e1s, gracias a un acuerdo con las aduanas de Estados Unidos, toda la carga pasar\u00e1 por esc\u00e1neres avanzados para mejorar la seguridad del comercio internacional.<\/p>\n<p>Este puerto promete fortalecer las exportaciones peruanas y podr\u00eda servir de base para las exportaciones de pa\u00edses vecinos, como Ecuador, Chile y Colombia, generando nuevas din\u00e1micas en el transporte mar\u00edtimo en la regi\u00f3n. Sin embargo, su desarrollo tambi\u00e9n ha generado preocupaci\u00f3n en Estados Unidos, atento al incremento de inversiones chinas en Am\u00e9rica Latina y su posible influencia en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El Megapuerto de Chancay iniciar\u00e1 operaciones comerciales entre diciembre de 2024 y enero de 2025, marcando un antes y un despu\u00e9s en el comercio sudamericano y en la
