El proyecto cuestionado consist\u00eda en la \u201cExplotaci\u00f3n Agr\u00edcola (cultivo de arroz de riego) y Ganadera, adem\u00e1s de expendio de combustibles y dep\u00f3sito de productos fitosanitarios\u201d, propuesto para el \u00e1rea de Abay, en el distrito de San Ignacio, Departamento de Misiones.<\/p>\n<p>El fallo judicial resulta un importante avance en la defensa de la biodiversidad, ya que protege el refugio de vida silvestre \u00abYabebyry\u00bb, una zona clave para la conservaci\u00f3n de ecosistemas fr\u00e1giles y especies en peligro de extinci\u00f3n. La resoluci\u00f3n original del MADES rechazaba el estudio de impacto ambiental presentado por la empresa promotora del proyecto, argumentando que no se garantizaban medidas suficientes para mitigar los efectos negativos sobre el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<p>El refugio de vida silvestre \u00abYabebyry\u00bb es una de las \u00e1reas silvestres protegidas de Paraguay, albergando una vasta biodiversidad que incluye especies de flora y fauna que dependen de la integridad del ecosistema para su supervivencia.
