Esta iniciativa, impulsada por el parlamentario Gustavo Arrieta junto a otros miembros, cuenta con el respaldo de la comisi\u00f3n y est\u00e1 a la espera de su inclusi\u00f3n en las pr\u00f3ximas sesiones plenarias del organismo regional. En la reuni\u00f3n virtual, tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 el senador paraguayo Patrick Kemper.<\/p>\n<p>El Gran Chaco Americano, la segunda mayor reserva de Bi\u00f3sfera de Am\u00e9rica del Sur, se extiende por \u00e1reas de Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, y en menor medida, Brasil. Este ecosistema enfrenta una alarmante tasa de deforestaci\u00f3n que compromete su biodiversidad. Seg\u00fan Arrieta, es urgente tomar medidas que preserven sus recursos naturales y culturales, mediante una pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica regional similar a la que se ha implementado en la Amazon\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La propuesta plantea una estructura organizativa multinacional y mecanismos financieros basados en estudios de impacto, con el objetivo de lograr resultados concretos en la conservaci\u00f3n de este ecosistema vital. Arrieta tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 la importancia de generar consensos en un contexto de tensiones pol\u00edticas, rememorando el ideal de la \u201cPatria Grande\u201d de figuras hist\u00f3ricas como
