En las \u00faltimas semanas, varios videos han circulado en redes sociales, mostrando a ganado bovino en estado debilitado, aliment\u00e1ndose de tierra en un intento desesperado por compensar la falta de minerales esenciales. Este comportamiento es un signo claro de la profunda escasez de nutrientes que enfrentan los animales debido a la falta de pasturas, exacerbada por una sequ\u00eda prolongada que afecta la Regi\u00f3n Occidental.<\/p>\n<p>La \u00faltima lluvia significativa en Boquer\u00f3n ocurri\u00f3 en febrero, y desde entonces, solo se han registrado ligeras lloviznas espor\u00e1dicas. El d\u00e9ficit de lluvias ha impedido el crecimiento de pastos, dejando a los productores ganaderos con pocas opciones. La compra de forraje y suplementos alimenticios ha elevado considerablemente los costos de producci\u00f3n, obligando a algunos a reducir sus reba\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Las autoridades locales advierten que, si no se registran lluvias importantes en los pr\u00f3ximos meses, la situaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda empeorar, poniendo en riesgo la seguridad alimentaria y la econom\u00eda de la regi\u00f3n.
