{"id":636,"date":"2023-11-30T15:00:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-30T14:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greentourmagazine.com\/v1\/?p=636"},"modified":"2023-11-30T15:00:30","modified_gmt":"2023-11-30T14:00:30","slug":"primera-vez-que-la-temperatura-global-supera-el-umbral-de-2c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greentourmagazine.com\/v1\/index.php\/2023\/11\/30\/primera-vez-que-la-temperatura-global-supera-el-umbral-de-2c\/","title":{"rendered":"PRIMERA VEZ QUE LA TEMPERATURA GLOBAL SUPERA EL UMBRAL DE 2\u00b0C"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El calentamiento de la Tierra super\u00f3 por primera vez el umbral de 2\u00b0C por encima de los niveles preindustriales, de acuerdo con los hallazgos preliminares del quinto an\u00e1lisis del clima global (ERA5) realizado por el Centro Europeo de Previsiones Meteorol\u00f3gicas a Plazo Medio.<\/p>\n<p>El pasado 17 de noviembre\u00a0la temperatura global del aire en la superficie alcanz\u00f3 2.07\u00b0C por arriba del promedio preindustrial.\u00a0Los datos provisionales indican que la tendencia se mantuvo durante el 18 de noviembre, cuando se registr\u00f3 una temperatura de 2.06\u00b0C dentro del mismo par\u00e1metro.<\/p>\n<p>Carlo Buontempo, director del Servicio de Cambio Clim\u00e1tico Copernicus, afirm\u00f3 que \u201cel r\u00e9cord ERA5 contiene ahora dos d\u00edas en los que las\u00a0temperaturas globales\u00a0superan el nivel preindustrial en m\u00e1s de 2\u00b0C. Si bien superar el umbral durante varios d\u00edas no significa que hayamos incumplido los objetivos del Acuerdo de Par\u00eds, cuanto m\u00e1s a menudo superemos este umbral, m\u00e1s graves ser\u00e1n los efectos acumulativos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Las estimaciones de ERA5 tambi\u00e9n determinan que el 17 de noviembre la temperatura global del aire en la superficie se situ\u00f3 en 1.17\u00b0C por encima de la media del per\u00edodo de referencia, 1991-2020. Las anomal\u00edas en conjunto anticipan que el de 2023 ser\u00e1 el noviembre m\u00e1s c\u00e1lido jam\u00e1s registrado.<\/p>\n<p>Copernicus estima que 2023 ser\u00e1 el a\u00f1o m\u00e1s caluroso desde que se tienen reportes. El programa europeo de observaci\u00f3n de la Tierra confirm\u00f3 que la temperatura promedio de la superficie terrestre registr\u00f3 un nuevo r\u00e9cord al alcanzar 15.3\u00b0C en octubre pasado. La medici\u00f3n es superior en 1.7\u00b0C a las mediciones habituales para la temporada en la era preindustrial.<\/p>\n<p>La irregularidad documentada en octubre se produce despu\u00e9s de tres sucesivos r\u00e9cords en julio, agosto y septiembre, que certificaron el\u00a0verano con el calor m\u00e1s extremo\u00a0nunca antes registrado. La temperatura de la superficie oce\u00e1nica tambi\u00e9n alcanz\u00f3 un nuevo r\u00e9cord con 20.79\u00b0C en las primeras semanas de oto\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-637\" src=\"https:\/\/greentourmagazine.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/5fa2f8c11eb20-300x147.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"548\" height=\"269\" srcset=\"https:\/\/greentourmagazine.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/5fa2f8c11eb20-300x147.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/greentourmagazine.com\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/5fa2f8c11eb20.jpeg 449w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 548px) 100vw, 548px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aumento de la temperatura terrestre en 2\u00b0C, una lucha por evitarlo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Un nuevo estudio de la iniciativa \u2018The Lancet Countdown\u2019 anticipa que de mantenerse el aumento de las temperaturas en 2\u00b0C, las\u00a0muertes relacionadas con el calor\u00a0ser\u00e1n 4.6 veces m\u00e1s frecuentes entre la poblaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 65 a\u00f1os hacia mediados de siglo. De igual manera, las p\u00e9rdidas laborales atribuidas al calor extremo crecer\u00edan 50% en 2050, mientras que 524.9 millones de personas experimentar\u00edan inseguridad alimentaria de moderada a severa entre 2041 y 2060 por la misma causa.<\/p>\n<p>La\u00a0Conferencia de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Clim\u00e1tico\u00a0se celebrar\u00e1 a finales de este mes en Dubai. Cerca de 200 pa\u00edses evaluar\u00e1n el balance mundial respecto a la acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica, con el objetivo de \u00abproseguir los esfuerzos\u00bb para limitar el calentamiento planetario a 1.5\u00b0C, par\u00e1metro fijado en el Acuerdo de Par\u00eds. C\u00e1lculos recientes indican que el aumento promedio de la temperatura terrestre se ubica en 1.2\u00b0C. De no haber cambios, el umbral internacional podr\u00eda superarse en la siguiente d\u00e9cada.<\/p>\n<p>Los cient\u00edficos aseguran que si los pa\u00edses cumplen sus compromisos de emisiones netas cero, ser\u00e1 posible limitar a 2\u00b0C el aumento de la temperatura por encima de la temperatura de la \u00e9poca preindustrial. \u201cSin embargo, estos compromisos no se consideran actualmente cre\u00edbles, pues ninguno de los pa\u00edses del G20 est\u00e1 reduciendo las emisiones a un ritmo coherente con sus objetivos. En el escenario m\u00e1s optimista, la probabilidad de detener el calentamiento a 1.5 grados cent\u00edgrados es solo del 14%\u201d,\u00a0advirti\u00f3 un nuevo reporte de la ONU.<\/p>\n<div
