Una t\u00e9cnica prometedora en esta \u00e1rea es la licuefacci\u00f3n hidrotermal (HTL), un proceso que convierte la biomasa en biocrudo a trav\u00e9s de altas temperaturas y presi\u00f3n. Este m\u00e9todo adicional convierte el amon\u00edaco en nitrato, multiplicando por 17 las concentraciones de nitrato en HTL-AP. L\u00f3pez, en su estudio publicado en Agriculture, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que los mejores resultados se obtuvieron cuando el pH del agua se manten\u00eda entre 6 y 7,5, y destac\u00f3 la capacidad del hongo para degradar compuestos t\u00f3xicos presentes en los residuos biol\u00f3gicos.<\/p>\n<h5>Implementaci\u00f3n y Beneficios Pr\u00e1cticos<\/h5>\n<p>Davidson y su equipo ahora investigan la aplicaci\u00f3n de las aguas residuales tratadas en la agricultura hidrop\u00f3nica. La proximidad del tratamiento a la fuente de biomasa, como una granja porcina, puede establecer una econom\u00eda circular, reduciendo la necesidad de transportar biomasa pesada y h\u00fameda.
