Habr\u00e1 un per\u00edodo de transici\u00f3n de tres a\u00f1os para su implementaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h5>Aprobaci\u00f3n Legislativa y Sanci\u00f3n Presidencial<\/h5>\n<p>El proyecto de ley que proh\u00edbe las corridas de toros en Colombia ha superado la etapa de conciliaci\u00f3n entre las versiones aprobadas por la C\u00e1mara de Representantes y el Senado. El Ministerio del Interior inform\u00f3 que el texto est\u00e1 listo para la sanci\u00f3n presidencial.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abCon 126 votos a favor, la plenaria de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes aprueba el informe de conciliaci\u00f3n del proyecto de ley que proh\u00edbe las corridas de toros, rejoneo, novilladas, becerradas y tientas en Colombia. El articulado queda a una firma de convertirse en Ley de la Rep\u00fablica\u00bb, public\u00f3 el Ministerio del Interior en X, utilizando el hashtag \u00ab#NoM\u00e1sOl\u00e9\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>El siguiente paso es enviar el texto al presidente colombiano, Gustavo Petro, conocido por su postura antitaurina, para que lo firme y convierta en ley.<\/p>\n<h5>Celebraciones y Controversias<\/h5>\n<p>La prohibici\u00f3n de las corridas de toros fue aprobada el 28 de mayo tras a\u00f1os de intentos y entre celebraciones de activistas animalistas que han luchado por esta causa durante una d\u00e9cada. Sin embargo, el sector taurino ha expresado cr\u00edticas ante la nueva legislaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Petro y su gobierno han celebrado la decisi\u00f3n del Legislativo. \u00abQuienes se divierten con la muerte de animales terminar\u00e1n divirti\u00e9ndose con la muerte de seres humanos; como los que queman libros terminar\u00e1n quemando seres humanos\u00bb, declar\u00f3 el mandatario colombiano. Petro ya hab\u00eda prohibido el uso de la plaza de toros La Santamar\u00eda para corridas en 2012, durante su tiempo como alcalde de Bogot\u00e1, y siempre ha defendido el fin de esta actividad.<\/p>\n<h5>Declive de la Tauromaquia en Colombia<\/h5>\n<p>Las corridas de toros, una vez populares en Colombia, han ido perdiendo seguidores. Actualmente, solo se realizan en los ruedos de La Santamar\u00eda en Bogot\u00e1, la Ca\u00f1averalejo en Cali, y la Plaza de Toros de Manizales, esta \u00faltima siendo la ciudad con la mayor afici\u00f3n taurina del pa\u00eds. Algunas plazas de provincia tambi\u00e9n contin\u00faan con la pr\u00e1ctica, pero en menor escala.<\/p>\n<h5>Hacia un Futuro sin Tauromaquia<\/h5>\n<p>Con la sanci\u00f3n presidencial, Colombia se unir\u00e1 a otros pa\u00edses que han prohibido las corridas de toros, marcando un hito en la protecci\u00f3n de los derechos de los animales y reflejando un cambio cultural significativo en la
