Actualmente, alrededor del 80% de las exportaciones e importaciones paraguayas se movilizan mediante el transporte fluvial.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">La propuesta establece como objetivo aumentar de 25 millones a cerca de 50 millones de toneladas el volumen de mercader\u00edas trasladadas por la hidrov\u00eda. Adem\u00e1s, Paraguay pretende atraer cargas de zonas productivas de Brasil, Bolivia y Argentina para ampliar su participaci\u00f3n en el movimiento comercial regional.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Entre las acciones previstas se encuentra la realizaci\u00f3n anticipada de trabajos de dragado en los r\u00edos, con el prop\u00f3sito de disminuir las dificultades que provocan las bajantes y garantizar una navegaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s fluida durante los periodos de menor nivel de agua. De esta manera, se busca reducir los riesgos de demoras y mejorar el traslado de productos.<\/p>\n<p>El plan tambi\u00e9n incorpora al Corredor Bioce\u00e1nico como una alternativa para conectar el Chaco paraguayo con los puertos del oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico, a trav\u00e9s de Chile.
