La obra se encuentra a pocos metros del Arroyo Mburica\u00f3 y del r\u00edo Paraguay, una ubicaci\u00f3n que gener\u00f3 cuestionamientos por el posible impacto ambiental en una zona considerada de alto valor ecol\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"583\" data-end=\"1025\">Seg\u00fan documentos y registros obtenidos sobre el proyecto, la estaci\u00f3n utilizar\u00e1 MTBE, un aditivo empleado en combustibles que anteriormente fue detectado en el Acu\u00edfero Pati\u00f1o, una de las principales fuentes de agua subterr\u00e1nea del pa\u00eds. La empresa obtuvo la autorizaci\u00f3n ambiental del Ministerio del Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible (MADES) en 2023, comprometi\u00e9ndose a implementar medidas para evitar la contaminaci\u00f3n del suelo, aire y agua.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1027\" data-end=\"1425\">La instalaci\u00f3n de la gasolinera tambi\u00e9n gener\u00f3 cr\u00edticas debido a que la compensaci\u00f3n ambiental presentada por la empresa estuvo vinculada a la protecci\u00f3n de una hect\u00e1rea y media de bosque perteneciente a la comunidad ind\u00edgena Sirakua, en el Chaco, pero dicha medida habr\u00eda sido prevista \u00fanicamente por un a\u00f1o, mientras que la concesi\u00f3n del terreno municipal se extender\u00e1 durante una d\u00e9cada y media.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1427\" data-end=\"1966\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Organizaciones ciudadanas y sectores pol\u00edticos cuestionaron la ubicaci\u00f3n del proyecto y advirtieron sobre los riesgos asociados a las estaciones de servicio, como posibles filtraciones de hidrocarburos, contaminaci\u00f3n ambiental y emisiones de sustancias perjudiciales para la salud.
