En la colonia Pindoy\u00fa, distrito de Maracan\u00e1, departamento de Canindey\u00fa, miembros de la Cooperativa Agronorte avanzan en la producci\u00f3n de este cultivo con destino asegurado a Estados Unidos, donde ser\u00e1 utilizado por una reconocida empresa fabricante de salsa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"879\"><span dir=\"auto\">Seg\u00fan explic\u00f3 el ingeniero agr\u00edcola Luis Piris, encargado de producci\u00f3n, la cooperativa mantiene un acuerdo comercial para proveer pasta de aj\u00ed tabasco a una compa\u00f1\u00eda norteamericana. En esta primera fase, el compromiso es entregar un mill\u00f3n de kilos de pasta, con la meta de alcanzar ocho millones a medida que se ampl\u00ede la superficie cultivada. Actualmente, cuentan con cerca de 28 hect\u00e1reas en producci\u00f3n, de las 55 previstas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"1219\"><span dir=\"auto\">La plantaci\u00f3n se concentra en comunidades cercanas a la planta procesadora de Guayaib\u00ed, lo que facilita la log\u00edstica y asegura la calidad del producto. El aj\u00ed debe ser procesado el mismo d\u00eda de su cosecha, por lo que se establecen rutas de recolecci\u00f3n en zonas como Maracan\u00e1 y Luz Bella para mantener la eficiencia y frescura del fruto.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1686\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><span dir=\"auto\">El proyecto cuenta con el acompa\u00f1amiento t\u00e9cnico del Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganader\u00eda (MAG) a trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n de Extensi\u00f3n Agraria (DEAg), que brinda capacitaci\u00f3n y asistencia a los productores, incluidos grupos ind\u00edgenas de Pindoy\u00fa.
