{"id":1278,"date":"2024-04-10T15:08:59","date_gmt":"2024-04-10T13:08:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/greentourmagazine.com\/v1\/?p=1278"},"modified":"2024-04-10T15:08:59","modified_gmt":"2024-04-10T13:08:59","slug":"alto-paraguay-presentan-plan-piloto-de-pastoreo-racional-rotativo-regenerativo-en-agua-dulce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/greentourmagazine.com\/v1\/index.php\/2024\/04\/10\/alto-paraguay-presentan-plan-piloto-de-pastoreo-racional-rotativo-regenerativo-en-agua-dulce\/","title":{"rendered":"ALTO PARAGUAY: PRESENTAN PLAN PILOTO DE PASTOREO RACIONAL ROTATIVO REGENERATIVO EN AGUA DULCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El ministro de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible, Rolando de Barros, estuvo presente en la jornada de presentaci\u00f3n del Plan Piloto de Pastoreo Racional Rotativo Regenerativo (PRIR) que se implementa en el marco del proyecto de cooperaci\u00f3n entre la Asociaci\u00f3n Agropecuaria de Agua Dulce (APAD) y el Ministerio del Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible (MADES) a trav\u00e9s del Proyecto FOLUR Paraguay.<\/p>\n<p>El PRIR es un sistema de manejo del pastoreo que busca armonizar el desarrollo de los pastizales con las necesidades de los animales y la mejora del manejo del suelo y la regeneraci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas en los que se realizan las actividades productivas, bajo la intervenci\u00f3n del productor. La APAD ha estado implementando un m\u00f3dulo PRIR en su sede en Agua Dulce desde mediados de 2022, generando informaci\u00f3n relevante para el productor ganadero y el pa\u00eds en t\u00e9rminos zoot\u00e9cnicos, ecol\u00f3gicos, econ\u00f3micos y financieros.<\/p>\n<p>Esta iniciativa busca promover pr\u00e1cticas productivas tecnol\u00f3gicamente avanzadas y, al mismo tiempo, conservar el ecosistema, logrando una armon\u00eda que permita aumentar la producci\u00f3n con un menor impacto ambiental.<\/p>\n<p>La presentaci\u00f3n cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n del Ing. Agr. Calixto Saguier, Director de proyectos de APAD, Robert Erath de UNEP, \u00a0Jaime Cavelier de ICCF, \u00a0Ramiro Vargas, Director ICCF Paraguay y Enrique Molas, coordinador del Proyecto Folur Paraguay. La actividad tambi\u00e9n cont\u00f3 con la presencia de miembros de los equipos t\u00e9cnicos del MADES y de la APAD.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto FOLUR es liderado por el Ministerio del Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible (MADES) con el apoyo del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA), como entidad implementadora, y de la Fundaci\u00f3n Internacional de Caucus Conservacionista (ICCF, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), como organizaci\u00f3n ejecutora. El proyecto FOLUR, cuenta con el financiamiento del Fondo Global para el Ambiente (GEF, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) y el cofinanciamiento del sector p\u00fablico y privado, de la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional, y la sociedad civil.<\/p>\n<p>El objetivo principal del proyecto FOLUR, es promover la planificaci\u00f3n integrada del uso de la tierra a trav\u00e9s de la implementaci\u00f3n de mejores pr\u00e1cticas de producci\u00f3n de las cadenas de valor de la carne y la soja, lograr la restauraci\u00f3n a nivel del ecosistema y mejorar la conectividad de los bloques de bosques remanentes.<\/p>\n<p>Los establecimientos de la localidad de Agua Dulce, Alto Paraguay, est\u00e1n siendo pioneros en la implementaci\u00f3n de este sistema de manejo del pastoreo.\u00a0 Durante la visita, se pudo constatar el compromiso de los productores ganaderos con el desarrollo de pr\u00e1cticas m\u00e1s sostenibles y amigables con el medio ambiente. Adem\u00e1s, se observ\u00f3 el impacto positivo que el PRIR est\u00e1 teniendo en la productividad de los establecimientos, as\u00ed como en la calidad del suelo y la salud de los
