Entre enero y octubre de 2023, Yacyret\u00e1 gener\u00f3 16.202 GWh, mientras que en el mismo per\u00edodo de 2024, la cifra se redujo a 12.951 GWh. Por su parte, Itaip\u00fa pas\u00f3 de producir 67.424 GWh a 53.645 GWh en igual lapso, reflejando la misma tendencia a la baja.<\/p>\n<p>Si se consideran las estimaciones para todo el a\u00f1o, Yacyret\u00e1 cerrar\u00eda 2024 con una producci\u00f3n de 15.934 GWh, frente a los 19.917 GWh de 2023. Itaip\u00fa, por su parte, proyecta generar 67.103 GWh este a\u00f1o, en comparaci\u00f3n con los 83.879 GWh del a\u00f1o pasado. Este descenso en la generaci\u00f3n no solo afecta la disponibilidad de energ\u00eda, sino que tambi\u00e9n implica millonarias p\u00e9rdidas en ingresos para ambas entidades.<\/p>\n<p>Los costos de la energ\u00eda tambi\u00e9n son un factor clave. Durante este a\u00f1o, la ANDE ha pagado 22,63 d\u00f3lares por cada MWh adquirido de Yacyret\u00e1. En el caso de Itaip\u00fa, el costo de la energ\u00eda garantizada asociada a la potencia contratada alcanza los 37,37 d\u00f3lares por MWh, valores que reflejan el impacto econ\u00f3mico de esta disminuci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La reducci\u00f3n en la producci\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica subraya la importancia de diversificar fuentes y optimizar el uso de los recursos binacionales, especialmente en contextos de menor generaci\u00f3n.
